More from Sherman Oaks!

When Mike B. got Banana Surprised last week....
...it kind of made him look like he took the short bus to school. But that's not the point.

The point is he was thrown a banana, and he took that banana and followed the easy six-step process up at the top and Banana Surprised his co-workers, starting with Jen of Rettigulous...

Good hand-eye coordination, Jen!

Next up was Trevor...

...great shot of the banana about to hit its target, Mike!

And finally, there was the Zack Attack™:
Zack remained curiously motionless, his eyes affixed on the incoming yellow missile while his right arm moved faster than the speed of light in order to halt the strike. The reason you can't see the banana in the photo is that it was destroyed upon impact. Clearly, Zack is some sort of cyborg.

Fire Away!

Is it me, or does it seem like Donna from San Diego is employing banana machine guns?

Due to the fact that both of Jorgie Boy's feet are off the ground, I'm willing to bet she's employing a non-banana machine gun as well.

This woman is a danger to her coworkers and society in general. Someone call the banana police!

Fuzzy Surprise!

Having successfully conquered the Human Banana Surprise, Donna from San Diego has decided to set her sights on the animal kingdom by attempting to shock her kitties Zena & ZuZu with the yellow fruit:

Unfortunately, it really only wound up confusing them...

And our blogger friend Fightin' Mad Mary from LA sent in this shockingly adorable photo of her dog Day-Z:

Mary reports: "I was the one that was surprised she balanced that banana on her head long enough for me to take a photo." I imagine that Day-Z probably didn't expect to have a banana on her head either, so I guess everyone was Banana Surprised in this situation.

And in what might result in cuteness overload today, Jon from Silverlake sent in this photo of his god-daughter Charlotte...

...who maybe seems more Banana Bemused than Surprised. Nevertheless, she's pretty darn cute.

Of course, the whole point of this project is to throw bananas at unsuspecting people, like Donna did to her co-worker Luis...
...who dove off his chair in order to catch the off-center Banana Toss. When she's not taking photos of her kitties, Donna's banana tosses have an element of danger--and we here at Banana Surprise couldn't love that more. So what are you waiting for!? Send in your Banana Surprises!

Californians Love Throwing Bananas

Lots of new photos came in over the weekend, including some terrifying pieces from Jon in Silverlake, CA:

I didn't have the heart to tell him that none of his photos have actual human beings in them, so I'm afraid no points ca be rewarded. Although the person in the top photo does seem genuinely surprised to be holding a banana, so a nice effort nonetheless.

And Patrick, who was Banana Surprised last week....
...chucked one at his office-buddy Mike:

Way to Pay it Forward, Patrick!

For the rest of you: Start chucking bananas!
